Piper Super Cub
Quicksilver Air currently owns and operates two Super Cubs. This very versatile aircraft is renowned for its slow flight capabilities, making it ideally suited for survey work, snow tracking and telemetry. The Super Cub is also a perfect support aircraft for helicopter capture operations. It acts as a ‘spotter plane’ and radio tracks to find target animals. It also keeps track of and relocates animals while the helicopter crew is processing on the ground. This aircraft is extremely useful during wolf work as well as other species.
